Welcome to your child’s first grade classroom at Clardy Elementary School. We are looking forward to an exciting and challenging year with your child. As children move into first grade, they become stronger readers, more careful thinkers, and more independent workers. They still require your guidance with homework, but will be able to do most of it independently (or at least attempt to complete it.) If a student does not bring his or her homework two times in one week, he or she will be required to serve lunch detention and will be asked to finish his or her homework. Thank you for your cooperation.
We look forward to meet with you to discuss your child’s progress. Please call the school office (887-4040) to schedule a conference time. Rules:
